Multimodal
In late 2007 – the TCW and Carver County Economic Development Department partnered in a study to determin if and where a Multi-Modal facility could be placed within the County.
It was determined that to allow for growth – certain critea must be in place for the selection process.
- Site must have at lease 600 usable acres
- Site must not be in any city/township 2030 projected growth area
- Must have sufficient road/highway access.

Due to the study - Mutli-Modal site have been included in 2030 Comprehensive plan. This is not to say that we must wait until 2030 to develope the area , just that the long range palns show the areas as industrial.
